Patti is a Colorado native who has lived in Adams County her entire life. Patti graduated from Regis University with a degree in Psychology. She is the proud mother of five children and has nine grandchildren. Patti volunteered for Catholic Charities at an emergency assistance center for several years and finally gave in to their request that she manage a center. For six years Patti served as the Manager of an Emergency Assistance center which provided a variety of services to the poor in the metro area. While working for Catholic Charities Patti founded a clothing bank at St. Mark’s parish in Westminster, that clothing bank is still operational today. After leaving Catholic Charities Patti volunteered for Uplift Internationale, Broomfield Fish, EFFA and Salvation Army in Aurora. Today, Patti serves on the Board of Uplift and went on a medical mission to the Philippines last year with the organization. During this same time Patti had a dream to start a new project providing food and other needs to the poor in Adams County which is now operating under the banner “Neighbor Outreach of Colorado”.
Dave is a third generation native Denverite. He and Mary have been married for 42 years and have two sons and five grandchildren. Dave graduated from Regis High School and College and has a MBA from the University of Colorado. He worked in public accounting for sixteen years and has served as the Executive Vice president and CFO of closely held family businesses. He currently is the CFO of Brass Smith LLC and Chandelle Ventures Inc. He has served on the parish and finance councils of various Catholic parishes, the educational policy and finance council of Regis Jesuit High School, was the Athletic Director at Most Precious Blood Catholic School and coached youth basketball for 25 years. Dave and Mary attend Most Precious Blood Catholic Church where he is a lay lector.
Debbi has been married to her wonderful husband for 32 years. They are proud parents of six children. Debbi was a public school teacher for 27 years. She has taught in rural Colorado, Germany, Broomfield, Thornton and Northglenn. The school in Northglenn was a Title 1 school, so she had the priveledge of working with students and families who struggled economically. She is now retired and is enjoying working at the food pantry. Debbi has also volunteered her time working at a clothing bank, on the athletic board for her children’s elementary school, and teaching children how to make rosaries.
Fr. Ken was born and raised in Sterling, CO. He attended St. Anthony’s School from the 8th grade through highschool. He entered the seminary in Cromwell, CN, in September of 1963. He completed his theology training at St. Thomas Seminary in Denver, and was ordained a priest on May 27, 1972. His assignments have included: St. Joeph’s in Ft. Collins, Notre Dame in Denver, St. Catherines in Iliff and Sacred Heart in Peetz, CO. Father Ken was asked to start a parish in Ft. Collins which is now known as St. Elizabeth Seton. Later he served at Most Precious Blood Parish, Denver, and now is pastor of St. Mark Parish in Westminster. During most of this time, he has been involved with Catholic Charities at varous levels and always supportive of anything for the homeless and poor, especially the Interfaith Hospitality Network to give temporary housing to the homeless.
Born at White Bear Lake, Minnesota, before it was famous. I had the best luck of my life when I married Debbi, my wife of 32 years. We have six wonderful children and we all still live in the area. I spent most of my career in construction and now work as a maintenance manager for Our Lady of Fatima Parish and School.
Ron recently retired from a career of over 40 years in the commercial banking industry in Colorado. He is now doing some focused consulting for community banks and has earned a Colorado Mortgage Loan Originator License to keep busy. Ron has been very active in community and industry organizations. He served on the board of Directors of Catholic Charities for seven years and served as Chairman in 2000. He also served on the Board of Directors of Archdiocesan Housing. Along the way, he served on the Board of Directors of the Colorado Bankers Association, various Chambers of Commerce and the Economic Development Group of the South Metro Denver Chamber of Commerce; and he served as President of the Rotary Club of Lakewood-Foothills and the Denver Chapter of The American Institute of Banking. Ron and Rosanne have three children and six grandchildren all living in the Greater Denver Area. Ron and Rosanne recently celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. They attend St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial. Rosanne is a Eucharistic Minister and regularly takes Communion to Swedish Hospital.
Born in West Virginia, Jim moved to Colorado with his wife Judy and two children in 1975. Subsequently, they had three more children. By training, Jim is a social worker with a Masters from the University of St Louis. He spent his entire professional career with Catholic Charities, first in West Virginia and then here in Colorado. Throughout his career, Jim developed many programs and services with a special interest in helping the poor and children. Now retired, Neighbor Outreach has provided Jim with the opportunity to continue his commitment to families and children who daily face conditions of poverty.
Mike retired from his full-time career in School Social Work in 2007. Since that time he has been involved in many activities including working for several food banks. He is now on the board of a new mobile food pantry called Neighbor Outreach of Colorado. Mike is a native of Colorado, and is very interested in sports: including football, baseball, and golf. Mike graduated from the University of Denver with a Masters in Social Work. He worked 30 years in Brighton School District in Adams County, Colorado. Mike lives with his wife, Carol, who was a teacher for 38 years. They belong to St James Catholic Church. Mike is a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Born in Montana, Jon moved to Denver after attending Gonzaga University where he graduated with a bachelor degree in Finance and Management Information Systems. Jon went on to earn his MBA from the University of Colorado and shortly after married his wife, Monica, a native of Westminster who also attended Gonzaga University. Jon and Monica have three kids and currently reside in Westminster, Colorado where they attend Nativity of Our Lord in nearby Broomfield. Professionally, Jon has worked in software development for the past 14 years and currently works for a software company in the healthcare industry. While most of Jon’s time is spent with his young family, he enjoys mountain biking and keeping up with the latest technology.
